Is the first lady trying to overthrow the president? Award-winning writer Kathleen Antrim's fictional response to this shocking premise is at the heart of her chillingly convincing political thriller, CAPITAL OFFENSE.

"Capital Offense" Featured at Academy of Country Music Awards

Author Kathleen Antrim was invited to do a personal signing for the stars at the Academy of Country Music Awards, broadcast live from the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

"What a great group of people," Antrim said of the Country Music Community. "Everyone was so gracious and genuine."

Antrim admitted that it seemed a little odd to be signing autographs for such amazing stars. "When Tracy Lawrence walked over and asked me to sign a book for him, with both stopped and looked at each other. Then he told me with a laugh that he couldn't remember the last time he asked someone else for an autograph. I have to admit if felt surreal."

But the stars kept on coming in to chat with the author, and to collect their copy of "Capital Offense." Now, stars like Emily Proctor of CSI: MIAMI; Eric Close of WITHOUT A TRACE, Kimberly Williams-Paisley of "FATHER OF THE BRIDE," Toby Keith, Martini McBride, Charlie Daniels, Sara Evans, Buddy Jewell, and Julie Roberts and bands like Rascal Flatts, Lonestar, Trick Pony and Diamond Rio among many others are all reading their personally signed copies of "Capital Offense."

Antrim will be appearing June 13th at the ELIZABETH GLASER PEDIATRIC AIDS CARNIVAL with stars like Tom Cruise, Dustin Hoffman, Kathy Bates, Julia Ormond and many others.
